
Creme Anglaise is like custard, but different. Custard has a bit of corn flour in it.
Creme Anglaise is a dessert sauce, it can be used to make ice cream, sauce for cake, berries and so on.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup heavy cream
70g white sugar
3-4 egg yolks
2tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 whole milk
PROCEDURES
In a saucepan, heat up the cream and vanilla extract until the edges become bubbly.
While that is being done, whisk the egg yolks and sugar until the sugar dissolves, add 1 1/2 cup of whole milk into the egg yolk and sugar mixture, then whisk.
Then add it into the saucepan with the cream and vanilla extract, stir and cook until it becomes thicker.
